They hatch within hours, if you keep them warm enough. And not to alarm you, but you'd want to have some raw meat standing by, in bitesized chunks. It will be hungry.
Not on Ajna. I hunted. Do you not eat meat yourself?

They need plenty of it, and they eat it raw, but soft. It will bite you at first, and it won't look much like a bahari right away. Have you ever kept an animal before?
I had three hatchlings at first. All of them bit me, but I fed them by hand until they knew the difference between my flesh and food. These days, Korol doesn't bite unless I tell him to.

Train them early and the lesson will be like nature to them. I've raised dogs before. It's the same with them.

He's doing his best - his body temperature is not as high as a human's, so he's going to have to turn the heat up in his room.

Ah. Thank you - he'll see what he can do about getting meat. Was it very difficult for you?

He can eat and does, occasionally, but not normally, no.

And he has not. Although he has a sort of general idea. He thinks.

He'll keep all of that in mind. Thank you.

If you need a hand, you know where I am. If you want, I'll come over when it starts to hatch.
[ In case it tries to eat your face or anything.
They do that. ]

He would very much appreciate it.

Consider it done. I'll bring Korol, too. He'll keep the hatchling in line.

Again, thank you. 888]

No need for that. I'll be glad to see hatchlings around the place again.

It will certainly be interesting.

You'll do well, Pilot. Don't worry so much.
