He tucks it behind her ear and smiles at her. She looks comfortable and
warm now, her skin flushed. He’s unable to keep from leaning in, kissing at

You could always join me. [ He lifts a brow. ] You did say
there was no one else here. How would they ever know?
[ Nikolai Lantsov is a huge distraction, Alina realizes. But she's also in no mood to fight it. The ETs really won't take too much time. They have twenty-four hours until the next task.
She kisses his lower lip as comes close to her and smiles. ]
[ With a smile, he kisses her back and then slides out of the bunk. The curtain is pushed back, and since she'd already told him they were alone, modesty isn't an issue. He reaches for her hand, drawing her with him. ]
You should always assume you're invited. After all, without you, it wouldn't have been interesting at all.
[ She takes his hand and climbs out of the bunk after him. They're alone for now, but she hopes it stays that way. At least long enough for them to shower. Athos may be busy but Wesley could still show up...
She still follows him to the shower, though, pulling him inside along with her. ]
I didn't know that. That it wasn't interesting without me. [ She smiles up at him. ] Although, I understand it.
[ He follows her in, pulling the door shut behind him while he turns the water on. It cascades over both of them, and Nikolai wastes no time in kissing her again while it does.
He breaks away smiling, and reaching for the soap. ]
We should have thought to do this before. Think of the time it would save.
Since you did drag me in here.... [ She teases. She could easily wash her own hair, but she likes the idea of him doing it for her and rubbing her scalp for her and just...
Really any time she can get with Nikolai, she wants it right now. ]
[ Mmmm. That feels as good as she imagined it might. She closes her eyes and leans her head back into his hands while he runs his fingers through her hair. He's so light with his touch that she eventually ends up shivering. ]
Maybe someday we can share a rover. [ A very noncommittal suggestion that he can take it or leave it. ]
[ He smooths the soap through her hair, letting the water run it away. That suggestion doesn't even make him pause. He smiles, tilting his head to the side, and looking at her curiously. ]
Would you like that? Living together. I thought you might suppose it was too forward. Or moving too quickly. That's why I didn't suggest it.
[ She looks up at him as he touches her so gently, surprised by his response. She can't help but smile and kisses the corner of his lips before he leans away. ]
I like waking up to you too.
We'll make it work... someday.
[ She says the last bit with a little smile. ] Soon hopefully.
[ His hand slides over to cup her cheek, before he's leaning in to kiss her gently again. His kiss lingers, teasing at her. ]

[ He's smiling, his eyes on her while he waits for her response. His fingers smooth more suds out of her hair. ]

[ She has male roommates now, he knows that, but a roommate isn't what he means. And actually, as she knows, he doesn't really approve of that, anyway - men and women always had separate quarters on his ship. ]
