She's not in a good mood. She's still okay, physically. But you know how she likes to think she really is a queen. She didn't like the lack of control.
I did, actually. I have to teach something called a Cotillion Dance. It's from Earth. Adrien's going to show me, but he didn't mention anything about paw prints.
[ Korol catches her with his body, meaning that he drops into the snow with Koroleva against him, and nuzzles affectionately in at her neck. He's had a good day - exercise, then a decent fight, then time to rest and now time with Koroleva - and he doesn't seem to realise anything is wrong. He plays with her like he always would.
Meanwhile, Sturmhond looks up at Alina. ]
If Adrien had been involved, I doubt it would have been done like that.
[ She answers, glancing at him before watching the bahari.
Koroleva is burrowed against Korol. They look like a huge, tangled mass, honestly, and she's happy that way. She nuzzles him back before nipping at him and pushing him. ]
[ Sturmhond smiles at Alina, and then reaches out. He snags her hand, before pulling her out into the snow with him. ]
Let's go walking. You have a tendency to destroy ceilings when you're annoyed, and the rover doesn't deserve it.
Korol?
[ Korol looks up, and then pushes back to his feet. He nudges and nuzzles at Koroleva, before doing something he's never done before - he licks her cheek.
And then bounds over to twine around Sturmhond and Alina's feet. ]
[ Welp. Somebody's getting dragged outside suddenly. Koroleva doesn't mind the idea of a walk. She's up and chasing after Korol, winding between the couple as she does before she gets beside Korol and leans against him as she walks. ]
[ Nikolai holds her arm gently. He says nothing about the way she’s leaning on him, and instead simply leans into it himself. He can tell she’s tired. And she’s still cut, and bruised from earlier. So is he. He squeezes her arm, and aims in the general direction of the bonfire. At least camp is relatively clean by now.
The bahari follow, with Korol now having clocked that his mate is clingier than usual. He keeps his head against hers – but as they approach the bonfire, and there are other people around, he rumbles quietly at anyone who comes too near. ]
That’s good, I’m glad. It’s better to be with people you can trust. That’s how I feel about Athos.

If that's all he wanted why in the name of every Saint did he not just ask, like any normal person?

Is Koroleva all right?

I don't think he knows what 'polite' means.

There's a difference between not being polite, and expecting to be obeyed. He's an imbecile.

Do you want me to bring Korol over? Might cheer her up.
no subject
You know that'll make her happy.
I only agreed to help for Adrien. Then he did that.
no subject
On my way, lovely. Why is Adrien involved?
no subject
It's that partner mission. You didn't get contacted by a 'partner' and asked to do something strange?

Let us in, Alina - we're almost at your door.
no subject
He didn't know. Uchiha didn't contact him first.
[ But she's opening the door the second she's sent the message. Koroleva's just going to clamber out to run at Korol. ]

Fine. [ Since everyone wants to go. ]
But only for a short walk. I'm tired.
no subject
He's tired, too. It's been a long day, and if he's honest, the results of it still sit heavily on him.
Obviously, he doesn't want to talk about that. ]
How is your new rover? I understand you're living with Clary now. That makes my life simpler.
[ Or so he thinks. Korol is walking contentedly with Koroleva now, not minding her weight at all, and nuzzling and nipping at her from time to time. ]
no subject
Maybe lean on him a little. The same way Koroleva does with Korol. Except not as heavy, honestly.
Koroleva's just nuzzling at Korol as they walk. If she really were a cat, she'd probably purr. ]
It's good. I get to live with Banagher and Clary and d'Artagnan. They're all people I like.

I have Jack’s friend with me now, too. David.
