| ♚ AGE: 24. ♚ VISUAL: He's tall, lean and physically fit. He has golden blond hair and hazel eyes, and a nose that's slightly crooked. His pb is Hayden Christensen. ♚ FASHION: He dresses loudly and expensively. His style would be roughly placed to 18th Century Europe, and Russia in particular. He basically looks like a very wealthy pirate - boots, shirt, cravat, waistcoat, paints, all tailored to fit, and all very fashionable if you're into that sort of scene. In particular he tends to wear a bright teal frock coat with brass buttons, which is his signature look and he tends to be recognised by it. He also wears brown leather gloves, which he wears all the time since they cover scars on his fingers. ♚ DEMEANOUR: His stance tends to be easy and casual. His expression is friendly and relaxed as a rule, but that's the mask he wears as Sturmhond. Beneath it he looks far more serious, grave and severe - the kind of look associated with a military leader. He's very neat, and his clothing will always be pristine and clean. He has a confident stride, and often whistles in an off-key tune. ♚ AURAL: He speaks a number of languages from his own world with varying degrees of competency. He is fluent in Ravkan and Kerch, and would know enough of both Shu, Fjerdan and Zemeni to recognise them. These are basically butchered fantasy versions of Russian, Dutch, Chinese, Norwegian, and an African dialect respectively. Ravkan (fake Russian) is his native language and he would speak it by default. Any character who understood Russian would have a good chance at understanding Ravkan - some of the words are the same, while others have similar or related meanings. He would recognise Russian as being similar to Ravkan in the same way. ♚ OLFACTORY: He smells clean, and of expensive personal hygiene. He doesn't wear cologne. ♚ TOUCHING: He doesn't mind it in general. He'd be happy to hold your hand or embrace you, he'd be happy to kiss your cheek or sling his arm over your shoulders. If you give him the impression that you like your personal space, he'll respect that - unless he's trying to annoy you. He would only shrug someone off from touching him if they were an enemy, and even then, he might stand for it if he were playing some kind of angle. ♚ VIOLENCE: Go ahead - he often deserves it. If it's a real fight, Sturmhond will fight back. If it's just that he's annoyed you and you've lashed out at him, he's likely to try and calm things down instead of escalate them. It depends on the situation. If you're worried about what his reaction will be I'm always available to plot with you first! ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: Sturmhond is charming by nature, and will comfortably flirt, flatter, and be generally friendly on the surface. Getting a real feeling out of him will be a little harder. He's very secretive and it takes a long time for him to genuinely trust people. He also has a tendency to lie, or at least be creative with the truth. Casual flirting will be easier than romance or any kind of emotional depth, but the latter is possible given enough time. ♚ TELEPATHY: Please discuss any sort of mental invasion or contact with me first so that we can plot how it goes! He has no way of shielding his thoughts, so it's possible to see them, but he'll react badly to it unless he's already given consent. ♚ APPEARANCE: He is physically very fit. He has a slightly crooked nose that's been broken at least once. He has spent the past ten years variously serving in the army, working as a gunsmith and shipwright, and running his own privateering enterprise on the high seas, so his body reflects what he has put it through. He is tall and lean, but is built with hard muscle, and his torso bears a number of scars - most notably a star-shaped scar in the centre of his chest, and similar ones on his thigh and the palm of his hand. He also has occasional bullet wounds and healed cuts. ♚ TRIGGERS: Sturmhond is an absolute expert at keeping his cool, and it takes a lot to get him to lose it. He'll lose his temper if he witnesses abuses of authority, and will act to prevent things like mistreatment, torture and cruelty. Aside from that, he tends to act casual and relaxed even if he's not. He was once physically changed by magic against his will. Being reminded of that might make him react badly, but he'd be trying not to show it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
